For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. 2 Timothy 1:7
How often in your spirit do you have power, love or peace?
If the answer is not too often, never, or I'm not sure. Well, don't worry you are not alone. The void of this spirit that God gave us can be due to sin in our lives. God sent his son, Jesus, to cover us of our sins and to turn us from our bad ways. It can be difficult for us to have a spirit of power, love and self-discipline when we are not in alignment with God.
GET SOS for the spirit means building a stronger personal relationship with our Lord, Jesus Christ. Within this relationship you can start the work to heal the spirit by accepting Jesus as your personal savior, build intimacy with him in prayer and reading his word, the bible. Lastly, finding a church home to connect with a body of believers is extremely important.
Truly my soul finds rest in God; my salvation comes from him. Psalms 62:1

In the Bible, sin is described as missing the mark of God's perfect standards. The Bible says that all people have sinned and fall short of God's glory. (Romans 3:23) Daily repentance of our sin helps us commune with God.
Believe in Jesus: Believe that Jesus died for your sins and rose again from the dead.
Confess your sins: Admit to God that you are a sinner and ask for forgiveness.
Repent: Turn away from your sins and be willing to change your behavior.
Trust in Jesus: Commit yourself to Jesus and trust Him as your Savior and Lord.
Declare your faith: Confess with your mouth that Jesus is your Lord. (John 3:16)
Precious Heavenly Father, I come to you in the name of Jesus. Your word says, "Whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved" (Acts:2 21). I am declaring with my mouth Jesus is Lord, and I believe in my heart that God rose him from the dead, in the name of Jesus I thank you for saving me. Amen! (Romans 10:9-10)
